- Todoroki: Hey, uh, I really like you… so, wanna go on a date? I asked your mom and she said she was fine with it, but I was still a little scared-
- Yaoyorozu: Hold on
- Yaoyorozu: You… you asked my mom if you could ask me out?

Well, that pretty much would depend on which Zuko we are talking about right now, dear anon – Zuko at the beginning of the series, shortly before he joins Aang, or at the end of the series?
If we are talking about Zuko at the end of his change, having faced his past demons, his father and Azula gone from his life, I think he and Shouto would have a bit of a bumpy start – they are both a bit awkward and not that good at making friends – but they would get along well. Their past is very, very similar, after all, and they would understand each other probably even better than their friends do.
I even dare to believe that Zuko, already having gone through all of this, would be a good influence on Shouto, who still seems not entirely sure what to do with himself now that he is “free” of his father’s way of thinking and his hate towards… pretty much the whole world.
And at least once, I expect there to be the sentence “That’s rough, buddy”.
I know it’s been a while since this chapter but this has been the only way I could read that scene and it has been bothering me
Bakugou, please, you’re not fooling anyone, you can drop the hard tsun.
